More information about the festival can be found at www.arcolor.cz

1 / MILADA SABOLOVÁ – MYSTICAL FEELINGS COLLECTION

“The Mystical feelings collection is about today’s woman, her feelings and the elements in her, the collection consists of dress, light, passion, mystery, tenderness, faith, woman, water, air, and life.”

** 2 / MARTINA VRÁBELOVÁ – RUDAKITANA – RAINDROPS COLLECTION **
“Raindrops in a metaphorical sense evoke a kind of fleeting essence and a feeling of irreversibility. I found the main source of inspiration for this collection in the film scene from the popular, cult musical Singing in the rain. The RainDrops collection is a collection of street – urban fashion, which consists of women’s jackets and coats for everyday wear. “

3 / WHERE – KAROLÍNA MRÁZKOVÁ, MICHAELA TRÁVNÍČKOVÁ, ANEŽKA BERECKOVÁ – FEMME FATALE COLLECTION
“This collection, called Femme Fatale, is an expression of women’s self-confidence and natural charm. The main idea for creating a comprehensive collection is beauty and femininity. The mission is to show women that they have an innate seduction and attraction. Each woman is unique in a way, which led us to look at the collection from different perspectives and adapt the individual models to the nature of women. ”

4 / MARTA IWANINA – MANUAL WORKS
Marta Iwanina is a designer from Poland who creates hand-knitted clothes and thus deviates somewhat from the line. “I follow timelessness and uniqueness in my models. The emphasis is on minimizing molds and maximum care for design and detail. I achieve timelessness in my designs by using high-quality wool and unusual blends, which are still fashionable and functional. I try to emphasize the independence of knitted materials, so I show them in the collection as separate elements. In this case, however, this does not mean that I deny the independence of the dress. I like contrasts. I contrast the naked body and the sturdy knit. I consciously clear the space and leave it to the audience to fill it themselves. “

5 / MICHAELA MATHONOVA – SHELL-TER
“I was looking for inspiration for my collection in the shapes of shells and shells, which, after simplification and conversion into a very linear form, gave rise to my volutes and fans. They go through the entire collection, both as dominant elements, details and the editing solution itself. One of my intentions was the timelessness of the collection, I chose a very sober color and reached for dark gray and cream. To enliven these colors, I complemented these colors with black and neon yellow ribbons with reflective stripes, which will take care of the “pinning” of interesting details and lines, as well as the zipper sliders. “

6 / ZUZANA HRUBOŠOVÁ – TOUCH AND GO COLLECTION
“The collection is inspired by blocks of architecture, which has been transferred to the editing solution, but also to the motif for textile printing. Printing is complemented by a functional 3D Braille application with information on clothing maintenance. The main goal is therefore the idea of making fashion accessible to people, regardless of visual impairment. The Braille app also looks mysterious to the garment itself. ”

7 / PETRA PITELKOVÁ – EVOLUTION COLLECTION
“In the beginning, the cell symbol from which the whole collection is derived was tuned in body and natural shades, cream and body colors dominate and natural development is underlined by organic materials such as linen, silk and cotton. The collection captures the development, which gradually develops and graduates from the first to the last model. The development was captured in color and in the cut itself, where loose jackets and vests resemble fish backs and loose flowing models are complemented by sharp spikes resembling scales and skin of prehistoric animals. “

8 / JANA MORÁVKOVÁ MINAŘÍKOVÁ – DESERT COLLECTION
“The desert is a place where one is free and unencumbered by social conventions. A place where you can be casual. The desert leaves no room for complicated rules. Mistakes are costly here and everything depends on the quality of the clothes. The desert appears in colors and materials, in the shapes and details of the new collection. The combination of white, beige and black is elegant and moderate. The desert gives colors order and forces us to focus on the essentials. On ourselves. “
