Tesla will supply equipment for Alset eco-houses, and Powerwall will head to China

Many have company Tesla boxed only as a controversial carmaker whose shares have unrealistic value. The fact is, however, that Tesla is not just making cars, and it is becoming increasingly clear that it wants to break through with more comprehensive solutions for cleaner forms of energy in more areas. She does not want to be dependent only on cars and inactively wait for which electric cars she will (perhaps) be threatened by competition. It thus entered into a partnership with a development company Alset EHome, which recently built 20 single-family homes in Porter, Texas. Tesla will take care of the energy solution of houses that will have solar panels, a Powerwall battery and a charger for an electric car. By the end of June, there should be another 10 houses in the same location, and by the end of the year, there should be 100 pieces. Alset EHome will also offer Tesla electric cars to new homeowners.

Alset Home CEO Chan Heng Dai wants to build a greener ecosystem and build over 5,000 green homes over the next 3 to 5 years. At the same time, it is planned to expand beyond the US borders. But Tesla does the same herself. Her project Tesla Energy is now launching in China and will offer solar panels and powerwalls for this Asian country. The official announcement of this project should take place tomorrow.

Although the energy business is still only a small part of the company (about twenty), it can be assumed that its importance will grow significantly in the future. It is thus possible that in the future, people will buy an entire house with an energy solution and a car as one large product.
