Tesla recalls half a million cars due to technical problems
Tesla ordered the voluntary collection of more than 475,000 of its electric vehicles, namely all Model 3 vehicles produced between 2017 and 2020, as well as some Model S units.
According to the American manufacturer, this recall concerns some potential technical problems with these vehicles. In the case of the Model 3, Tesla identified a problem when opening and closing the trunk, which could damage the rear chamber protection.
With regard to the Model S, the problem seems to be more worrying with regard to driver safety, as it concerns the front luggage compartment which may not be closing properly, which may open completely without prior warning and obstruct vision while the car is circulation.
