Team Classic Suzuki Katana project of 200 hp

Team Classic Suzuki is known for creating retro spirit machines, and today’s creation is undoubtedly the crown of their careers.

As the race was over and there was no Koran virus pandemic in the first weeks, the team had plenty of free time.

They took the Suzuki GSX-R1000 WSBK specification and made this an extremely attractive and powerful Katana.

So the basis is a 2008 WSBK machine, and the end result is a street monster. The motorcycle has an Alstare WSBK frame, while Nathan Colombi worked on the engine. The unit has over 200 hp, along with a Racefit exhaust system and a Yoshimura EM Pro electronics package.

To give the rear of the motorcycle a Katana look, a slightly larger rear fork and an Alpha Performance Fabrications subframe have been fitted. The radiator is Suzuki’s factory, and the Ohlins suspension with superbike forks at the front. There are also Michelin street tires, Brembo brake calipers and disc brakes.

At the rear are the LED rear light, a modified seat, and at the front a larger headlight housing with LED lighting.

If you enjoy retro creations, there is no doubt that you will like this Katana.
