TCL launches the glasses NxtWear G – provides an external screen

TCL has introduced a pair of smart glasses called NxtWear G. The glasses are an accessory for mobiles, tablets, laptops and computers and simply give the user an external screen.

Through two OLED panels from Sony with 1080p resolution, NxtWear G can simulate a 140-inch screen with a 16: 9 aspect ratio, according to TCL. In its press release, TCL writes that the device supports 3D 4K content.

The glasses are not powered by a battery but need to be connected to the device via USB-C and plug-and-play. Stereo speakers have been integrated into the frame but the manufacturer recommends headphones. NxtWear G will be compatible with over 100 mobiles, hybrid devices and laptops.

The entire construction, including the cable, weighs 130 grams. Australia gets its first thing and NxtWear G will go on sale there in July for the equivalent of SEK 5,770.
