Tax foreclosures suspended until end of March

The Government decided to suspend tax foreclosures between 1 January and 31 March.
According to the Executive, this measure is due to the “serious situation that we are still going through”, and, as such, justifies the “need to approve new support measures also in terms of compliance with tax and contributory obligations”.
The Government has also determined the “suspension of the statute of limitations and lapse periods relating to all types of processes and procedures within the scope of executions in progress or instituted in the period in reference”.
The order also says that “ongoing installment plans for Social Security debts outside the scope of executive processes are also suspended, without prejudice to being able to continue to be punctually fulfilled”.
