Applications for tariff quota requests will be made with electronic signature on the website of the Ministry of Commerce. If the application cannot be made due to the difficulties that may be experienced in the electronic environment, the applications can also be made physically.
In cases where there is inconsistency in the information and documents submitted in the application, the request will not be met until the said inconsistency is corrected by the applicant.

The tariff quota will be distributed using the “first come, first served” method within the framework of the relevant legislation. The amount of tariff quota that can be granted in an import license shall not exceed 15 tons. An import license will only be issued for one country or customs territory.
The goods subject to the tariff quota can only be put into free circulation within the validity period of the import license. If the import license is physically issued, it will be mandatory to return it to the Ministry after the expiry of its validity period. Import license is not transferable.
