Taboul: recipe

Tabbouleh is an essential summer dish, because it is easy to make, because it combines cereals and vegetables, and because it is good. There are many variations to the traditional Lebanese recipe. Here is one, simple and refreshing.


Number of persons : 8 people

List of ingredients

  • 250g fine grain semolina
  • 10 beautiful tomatoes
  • sel
  • 9 tablespoons of vinegar
  • 13 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 shallot
  • a bunch of parsley
  • 15 to 20 mint leaves

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Break : 2 h minimum


Put the semolina in the serving bowl and add the tomatoes cut into pieces.

Proceed with the seasoning by incorporating the lemon, vinegar, oil and salt to your taste.

Mix everything and finish by cutting the shallot into small cubes, and chop the parsley and mint leaves.

Leave to rest for at least 2 hours.

Adjust seasoning when serving.

To be enjoyed fresh!!
