Synoform vaccine came in 152 boxes in Chittagong

In 152 boxes, 91,200 doses of vaccine made by Chinese synopharm have reached Chittagong. A team led by a civil surgeon received the consignment on Friday (June 18) morning. These coronavirus antidotes were brought to Chittagong from the Dhaka Civil Surgeon’s Office in a special vehicle of Beximco Pharma.

1 lakh 14 thousand doses of vaccine have been allocated for five districts of Chittagong division. Of these, maximum 91,200 doses have been allotted for Chittagong district, 10,600 doses for Cox’s Bazar district, 4,600 doses for Rangamati district, 3,600 doses for Khagrachhari district and 3,600 doses for Bandarban district.

It is known that 91,200 doses of vaccine should be administered by April 4, 2023. Preference will be given to registrants for ticks. The first batch of 500,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine, a gift from the Chinese government, arrived in Dhaka on May 12. In the second phase, 13 lakh doses of vaccine came to Bangladesh on 13 June. Bangladesh and the World Health Organization (WHO) first approved the synoform vaccine.
