The Swiss company Morand Cars announces a new supercar for 2023, which will be available in a hybrid and fully electric version (both with a top speed of about 250 miles per hour / 402 km / h).
In addition, composite materials and carbon fibers will be used in the construction.
The fully electric version will have four electric motors with a total of 1950 hp, 70 kWh batteries and an autonomy of at least 300 km.
The hybrid variant will combine a 5.2-liter atmospheric V10 engine and two electric motors with a total of 1100HP, and there’s also an Xtrac 7-speed transmission. It will be possible to drive only in electric mode, and about 50 km.
According to the news, the goal is for the car to weigh around 1250 kg.
A prototype of the hybrid version is expected on the roads at the end of this year, and the electric model will arrive in 2022.
The price for the hybrid model is 2.3 million Swiss francs (and the electric one should have a similar price), and it is announced that a total of 73 copies will be made (for now it is not known how many of them will be hybrids and how many electric ones).
