Swab Test Case, Today Police Check Rizieq, Son-in-law and Managing Director of Ummi Hospital

Suara.com – Habib Rizieq Shihab and his son-in-law Hanif Alatas and the President Director of Bogor Ummi Hospital Andi Tatat will be examined by investigators from the General Crime Directorate (Dit Tipidum), Bareskrim Polri, Friday (15/1/2021) today. The three of them were examined as suspects in a case of alleged obstruction of the epidemic prevention related to the implementation of the swab test.

Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Pol Andi Rian Djajadi said that investigators plan to examine the three at around 09.00 WIB.

“Today at Bareskrim at 09.00 WIB,” said Andi when confirmed.

According to Andi, Hanif Alatas and Andi Tatat have stated that they will fulfill the investigators’ summons today. While Rizieq, it is known that he is currently in the Police Criminal Investigation Detention Center.

Article 14 Paragraph 1 reads; Anyone who deliberately obstructs the implementation of the epidemic control as regulated in this law, shall be punished with a maximum imprisonment of one year and / or a maximum fine of Rp1 million.

While Article 14 paragraph 2, namely; anyone whose negligence results in obstruction of the implementation of epidemic control as regulated in this Act, is threatened with imprisonment for a term of six months and or a fine of up to Rp500 thousand.

Then, Article 216 KUHP Paragraph (1) which reads; any person who deliberately does not comply with orders or requests made according to law by an official whose job is to supervise something, or by an official based on his / her duties, similarly those who are authorized to investigate or investigate a criminal act; Likewise, anyone who deliberately prevents, obstructs or thwarts actions to enforce the provisions of the law by one of these officials, shall be punished by a maximum imprisonment of four months and two weeks or a maximum fine of Rp9,000.

Furthermore, Article 14 and Article 15 of Law Number 1 Year 1946 concerning Criminal Law Regulations.

Article 14 Paragraph 1 reads; whoever, by broadcasting false news or announcements, deliberately publishes disturbances among the people, is punished by a maximum imprisonment of ten years.

Article 14 Paragraph 2 reads; Anyone who broadcasts a message or issues a notification, which can produce disturbance among the people, while he can reasonably think that the news or notification is a lie, shall be punished by a maximum imprisonment of three years.

The last of Article 15 reads; anyone who publishes uncertain or incomplete or incomplete news, while he understands that at least it is reasonable to speculate, that such news will or could easily produce a public outcry, punishable by up to two years in prison.
