Prague – According to the Minister for Regional Development Klára Dostálová (for YES), subsidies from the Živel program will not be reduced by donations from public collections. People who are insured will benefit. Instead of the entire indemnity, only 70 percent will be included in the total cost of housing renewal. The possibility of transfers of ownership to an apartment or house has also been amended, and family members, for example, will now be able to transfer them to each other. The government approved it at an extraordinary meeting today, Dostálová told ČTK.
Originally, the cabinet was to decide only on the deletion of the point that determined that donations from public collections would be deducted from subsidies. According to Dostalová, the purpose of this wording was that the invoice for one cost should not be paid twice.
The Živel program was created to help people in southern Moravia and Louny affected by a tornado.
