The Polish studio, which became famous especially for the game series The Witcher, is very busy. The developers are working on several projects at the same time, some of them will be revealed in a few weeks.
The Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 is currently the top priority for Polish game studio CR Projekt Red. This is shown in an official graphic shared by the studio in a press release. The expansion has been in the works since the end of 2021, on the contrary, the number of developers of the base game has decreased to a mere fraction.
At the same time, the studio is concentrating on the creation of a new Sorcerer codenamed Polaris. The graphic also shows ongoing support for the GWENT title or the growing Sirius Project team. Phantom Liberty is scheduled to be unveiled on June 8 at the Summer Game Fest presentation.
Several milestones were also achieved in the past few days. The Witcher series has sold over 75 million copies, with the third installment alone accounting for two-thirds of that amount.
