A 24-member team from the state participated in the national competition held at Ujjain. In the men’s individual event, Tushar Yadav won the gold medal in the under-18 category in the single rope speed event. Ravi Nirmalkar won gold and Tumeshwar won bronze medal in under-18 category in speed 3 minutes endurance. Himanshu Kashyap in men’s under-22 category and Purnima Nishad in women’s category achieved golden success in single rope freestyle event. The office bearers of the Chhattisgarh Jumprope Association have congratulated the medal winning players.
