Week 14 of 2020 (from March 30 to April 5) registered the highest rebound of the year with a total of 20,767 deaths, compared to the 8,807 that occurred a year earlier, 135 percent more.
Another rebound of deaths in 2020 occurred in the week 45 (from November 2 to 8) when 10,599 people died, 2,922 more than a year earlier, a 38 percent increase.
Of the 80,202 excess deaths between weeks 11 and 52 of the year 2020, 38,438 were men and 41,764 women.
By ages, in both sexes the majority correspond to over 70 years old.
In the cited period of 2020 196,777 men and 194,621 women died.
