The creators claim that one a cubic centimeter of new cable can withstand more than 800 tons of cargo, which means it could transport about 160 elephants into space, if necessary. That is why this material is described as the strongest in relation to everything that could be seen before, and it is expected to have a wide application in the future, and even to enable the construction of the long-desired space elevator.
