Under the initial public offering (IPO) policy, the general investor in the IPO of South Bengal Agriculture and Commerce Bank has received 61 shares at Rs 10,000 per share. Expatriate investors got 108 shares for every Rs 10,000. The affected investors have been allotted 8 shares for every Rs 10,000.
In the IPO, the bank will issue 100 million ordinary shares at a face value of Tk 10. And through this the bank will collect 100 crore rupees from the capital market. On the other hand, applications worth Tk 1,391.44 crore have been submitted. As a result, 13.91 times the demand was received. The bank will raise money from the capital market to spend on the purchase of government securities and IPO costs.
