Not only Song Ji-hyo, but also her employees suffered damage.” According to Dispatch, six Ujurox employees in their 20s and 30s, who earn an average annual salary of about 27 million won, suffered from overdue wages. They endured by getting their cards back or lived by breaking savings. One employee even received a notice of provisional seizure from a credit information company.

Song Ji-hyo was in a situation where she did not receive the settlement money, but she was worried about the employees first. Song Ji-hyo paid more than 10 million won for hospital expenses and took care of taxi fares for the employees who suffered from living difficulties due to his salary being delayed. She also paid the manager’s on-site expenses with her personal card.

Sports Seoul reported that Ji Seok-jin, a broadcaster belonging to Woojurox, also stepped out for his staff who did not receive wages. He checks every day whether the staff, including the manager who is in charge of driving and the stylist team, are paid properly, and pays those who did not receive their own money.

After Song Ji-hyo signed an exclusive contract with Woojurox in October of last year, he filed a lawsuit after notifying the contract termination last month, claiming that he had not been properly paid. Ujurox has come under fire for overdue wages for employees and non-payment of celebrity fees. In addition to Ji Seok-jin, actor Oh Man-seok, singer Lee Hyun-woo, group ‘Koyote’ Baekga, and ‘BAP’ Zelo belong to it.
