Karolina Rácz, a half-Polish, half-Hungarian lyricist and singer, the founder of the LeMa Project, rethought traditional Polish Christmas songs with her fellow musicians, for which the book Polish Christmas Songs in Hungarian (Polskie kolędy po węgiersku) was born. and the associated audio material. The album was released in early December.
The bilingual, illustrated book is decorated with Christmas graphics by Iwo Birkenmajer: the artist dreamed up a separate graphic for each song in the CD appendix, as well as original Polish and new Hungarian lyrics.
The publication contains a total of twelve songs. According to Karolina Rácz, the number twelve also symbolizes the special tradition that there are traditionally twelve dishes on the Polish Christmas table.
