On May 18-19, 2023, the fourth All-Russian Pediatric Forum of Students and Young Scientists “Virtuoso of Pediatrics” was held, within the framework of which an Olympiad with international participation was held on the basis of the First Moscow State Medical University. Teams from 34 Russian medical universities took part in the Olympiad. The student team “Kinder Doc” of the Smolensk State Medical University, led by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pediatrics – MD. N.Yu. Krutikova, took an active part in this scientific competition.
The Olympiad included 3 rounds: theoretical, practical, presentation of the team in the form of a “video”, as well as scientific entertainment events.
The Smolensk team adequately represented their university, having received a diploma in the theoretical round of the Olympiad for winning the “Thought at the speed of light” nomination. The Smolensk team was especially successful in the practical round, where the practical skills of students were evaluated in simulations.
In the overall standings, the Smolensk guys took 10th place out of 34 teams.
