OGULIN – Almost seven years after the opening of bankruptcy in the Croatian Olympic Center Bjelolasica and about twenty attempts to sell it at tenders, the Slovak company Bioelektro Energy is in the process of buying that center for about 4.58 million kuna (604 thousand euros).
As reported by Jutarnji list, the High Commercial Court recently rejected the appeal of the Zagreb company Benek against the decision of the Commercial Court in Zagreb from October last year to accept Bioelektro Energija’s offer in the last tender for the sale of HOC as the most favorable.
In that way, the conditions were created for the Slovak buyer to conclude a purchase agreement with the state on HOC Bjelolasica. If that happens, the question arises what are the plans of Bioelektro Energija in Bjelolasica, ie can it be expected that the once favorite destination of Croatian athletes for preparations for major competitions will be ready to receive athletes and other guests again, and gain its former reputation and reputation, states the sheet.
According to the terms of the tender, which offered the purchase of real estate in Bjelolasica, the buyer is not obliged to offer a business plan for the Olympic Center, but only to pay the requested amount, it is added.
The city administration of Ogulin, where HOC Bjelolasica is located, says that they tried to contact a Slovak investor to get acquainted with their plans, but they point out that Michal Vasek from Bioelektro Energija told them to wait for the completion of the mentioned appeal procedure. on court.
As Jutarnji unofficially finds out, the Slovaks were on Bjelolasica on several occasions and announced that they planned to reopen the center with all the facilities it had before the bankruptcy. Independent newspapers
