According to the explanation of the officials in the Secretariat for Public Revenues, considering that there was no significant change in the decision on the determined average prices per square meter for 2021, as well as taking into account the reduction based on depreciation of one percent per year, taxpayers can expect a slight change in the calculation.

– Taxpayers who have real estate in zones where the average prices per square meter have increased, will have a slightly higher tax liability for 2021 – the Secretariat for Public Revenues states. – On the other hand, in the zones where real estate prices have fallen, they will have a proportionally lower obligation.

According to the insight from the Decision on the average price of real estate for the past period, it can be concluded that the price in the extrazone of housing, which includes mainly Dedinje, a square meter sold for an average of 219,402 dinars, or 1,875 euros, while in the same period last year it cost about 213,395 dinars or 1,823 euros. In the first zone, the square was sold for about 9,000 dinars more, ie instead of 190,091 dinars, for 199,942 dinars, so apartment owners in these parts of the city can hope for higher tax bills. In the sixth zone, the price of apartments was lower by about 3,000 dinars, so apartment owners can hope for smaller bills.

COMPLAINS

In SEPTEMBER, due to higher property tax bills, the competent secretariat received about 2,500 complaints from citizens. Many received the increase, because the City did not make a decision limiting the tax increase to two percent compared to last year.
