Prague – Football Slavia Prague has 90 percent caught up with the arrival of national team striker Michael Krmenčík from Bruges, Belgium. He should head to Eden for an annual hosting, which will turn into a mandatory transfer if the red and whites advance to the basic group of the Champions League. Slavia was also strengthened by the captain of the Swedish national team of twenty-one, Aiham Ousa, who signed a contract with the Czech champion until June 30, 2026.
If Krmenčík moves to Slavia, the Prague club will pay 2.5 million euros (64.2 million crowns) for it. “The arrival is 90 percent complete, the last details and medical examination of the player remain. I firmly hope that the arrival will be completed by Friday this week. We are very happy about it, Michael Krmenčík was a key reinforcement for us this period,” he told a news conference before season, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Slavia Jaroslav Tvrdík.
Krmenčík’s return to Bohemia has been talked about for a long time. Competitive Sparta was also interested, but the 28-year-old striker decided for Slavia. Krmenčík came to Brugg last January from Pilsen, with which he won three league titles. He also won the Belgian league last season, which was not completed due to coronavirus. Gradually, however, he stopped boarding, so in the winter he went to PAOK Thessaloniki for a six-month guest appearance. He started with the Czech team at the last European Championship.
Ousou last played in the Swedish second-league team GAIS Gothenburg, where he was a guest from Häcken. He is now the captain of the national team of twenty-one. “Slavia is a big team, she plays great football. She has had great success in recent years. I have always wanted to be the best, to fight in big clubs and big competitions. I have seen Slavia play in Europe, I have seen her success and it motivated me to move here.” stated for the club website Ousou.
Another Ukrainian central defender, Taras Kacharaba, will also continue in Slavia. The people of Prague agreed with Liberec to extend its hosting with an option for half a year.
“I am very happy that Slavia and Liberec have agreed. I am happy to be able to continue in Slavia. We have a very demanding season, qualifications for the Champions League and difficult matches of the first league and the home cup. I will do everything to get as much as possible from the team helped, “Kacharaba said.
