Prague – The 8th round of the first football league will continue with five matches today. Slavia Prague will welcome České Budějovice from 7:00 p.m. and will try to catch up with the still undefeated champions Plzeň, who lead the incomplete table by three points after Saturday and also have a game to spare. The rest of the three Slovácko cup participants will present themselves in Mladá Boleslav from 16:00.

In the last round, Slavia drew with Slovácko and after five league wins, they stumbled. Against České Budějovice, however, the red and whites are clear favorites also because they have beaten Dynamo eleven times in a row at home in the league. However, the South Bohemians are doing better away from home this season, where they have won seven of the eight points so far.

In the league, Slovácko won only one point from the last three rounds and is in eighth place. The match will be more prestigious for the visiting coach Martin Svědík, who led the Central Bohemian team in the past.

From 4:00 p.m., Jablonec will also play, which is the only one that has not yet won in the league season and will try to end the black streak in a duel with Hradec Králové. The last Pardubice will play under the leadership of temporary coach Pavel Němeček at Baník Ostrava and Bohemians 1905 will face Liberec.
