Sitakunda Awami League leader was killed when a lorry hit him in City Gate area

Alhaj Muhammad Mostakim, 55, former vice-president of Salimpur Union Awami League in Sitakunda upazila, was killed in a road accident at City Gate area under Akbarshah police station.
The accident took place in the CDA Road No. 1 area of ​​the Dhaka-Chittagong highway after Friday prayers on Friday (July 3).
The deceased was identified as Mostakim Fauzdarhat, the first son of late Abdul Monaf of Dullav’s house.
Confirming the matter, Salimpur Union Awami League general secretary Fazle Karim Chowdhury told Newton reporters, “He was going to his father-in-law’s house in the city on a motorbike after performing Friday prayers at a mosque in his area. On the way, he was seriously injured when a lorry hit a motorcycle in the CDA No. 1 road area. He died on the way to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital.
Meanwhile, Sitakunda MP Alhaj Didarul Alam, Upazila Chairman Alhaj SM Al Mamun, District Council Member AMM Dilsad, Upazila Awami League President Abdullah Al Baker Bhuiyan, Salimpur UP Chairman Salauddin Aziz expressed their grief over the death of Awami League leader in a road accident. Union Awami League President Golam Mohiuddin, General Secretary Fazle Karim Chowdhury Newton and other leaders.
