Singer Mainul Ahsan Noble was arrested by the police after a case was filed against him for not going to sing for money.
A case was filed in Dhaka’s Motijheel police station on Friday on the charge of embezzling around two and a quarter lakh taka for singing at a function in Shariatpur.
Deputy Commissioner of Lalbagh Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Detective Moshiur Rahman said that Noble was arrested in that case on Saturday (May 20) early morning.
According to the police, a person named Safayet Islam filed the case at Motijheel police station.
