Since the beginning of the year, about 900 criminal proceedings have been opened for forging tests and certificates of vaccination against COVID-19.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, this was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Yenin on the air of the program “Freedom of Speech of Savik Shuster”.

“Since the beginning of this year, we have about 900 criminal proceedings. Half of them are based on the fact that citizens use fake certificates. 73 – on medical workers and 32, as we see, on travel agencies,” Yenin said.

He added that about 100 such criminal proceedings had been registered in the last week alone.

“And believe me, it’s just a warm-up,” said a ministry spokesman.

Yenin also showed a video taken a few hours ago: “Here we see a famous Hero of Ukraine, who receives a report of suspicion in connection with the attempt to use a fake vaccination certificate.” “And so it will be with everyone,” he said.

In addition, a representative of the ministry showed copies of fake vaccination certificates in the name of Shuster, which law enforcement officers ordered and received from “one of the Vinnytsia fraudsters” for 250 euros.
