Burçelik and Can 2 Thermal shares will not be subject to short selling and credit transactions until the end of the session on June 23.
Within the scope of the Volatility Based Precautionary System (VBTS), Burçelik and Can 2 Thermal shares will not be subject to short selling and credit transactions from the transactions dated 26/05/2023 (beginning of the session) to the transactions dated 23/06/2023 (end of the session).
In the statement made by BIST to KAP, it was stated:
“Within the scope of the Volatility-Based Measures System (VBTS), which was put into use pursuant to the Capital Market Board decision, BURCE.E and CANTE.E shares will be offered for short sale from the transactions dated 26/05/2023 (beginning of the session) to the transactions dated 23/06/2023 (end of the session). cannot be subject to credit transactions.
Note: The measures brought under the VBTS are evaluated separately from the trading rules of the market/platform where the share is traded, the trading principles applied for market change or other reasons. Accordingly, VBTS measures continue to be implemented until the end of the measure period, apart from the validity period of the transaction principles put into effect with other regulations or decisions.
Pursuant to the CMB’s decision dated 06/02/2023, Borsa İstanbul A.Ş. Short selling transactions in all stocks are prohibited until a second announcement is made in the Equity Market.
