Sharing Daihatsu Technology at the End of the Year to Vocational High School Teachers throughout Yogyakarta

DAPURPACU – The Smart Program with Daihatsu will continue to be carried out by PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) until the end of 2021. This time, the program is being held for vocational school teachers throughout Yogyakarta.

The automotive technology sharing program related to the Daihatsu model line was held virtually on December 22. During this year a total of 12 times Daihatsu held this activity.

According to Aji Prima Barus Nurcahya, Section Head of Service Training Department of PT ADM, this sharing program is one of Daihatsu’s commitments in educating the nation by increasing Link and Match between school vocational programs and the industrial world.

“Hopefully SMK teachers can continue this sharing with students in their schools so that they can prepare themselves better when they enter the industrial world,” he added.

Like the previous activity, education about the latest automotive technology, starting from the introduction of functions, component working mechanisms, to proper troubleshooting on Daihatsu cars was given.

This training is about technology, engine working mechanisms and performance through the development of the 1KR-VET engine on the Daihatsu Rocky 1.0L with a 1,000 cc, 3-cylinder turbocharged engine.

“This configuration provides performance and acceleration like a machine with a larger capacity,” said Prima, in his official broadcast.

While the WA-VE 1.2 engine is the first Daihatsu engine in Indonesia and the world that uses a 3-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1,200 cc.
