Even though he was a little hesitant at first, his persistent will to open up became the beginning of a new story in his business journey. “I consider this an opportunity, so I just try to live it,” he said.

He told me that when they first became BRILink Agents, they still had to run their wholesale business. However, only a few months later, Yusrah and her family have started to feel a sizable increase in turnover from ‘selling’ transfer and cash deposit services.

As a result, they decided to stop the grocery business and focus on becoming a BRILink Agent. They are also willing to pick up the ball, help with community transactions at homes. Over time, people began to recognize, customers actually came by themselves. “I used to receive all kinds of services, including financing payments, electricity, BPJS and so on. Now I only focus on banking transactions,” explained the woman in the hijab.

They now take care of more than 100 BRI customers a day in a 4×3 square meter building in front of their house, Jalan Jati, Nunu Village, Tetanga District, Palu City, Central Sulawesi.

Seven years as a BRILink Agent, Yusrah is quite happy because she has been able to buy a car and a plot of land for hundreds of millions beside her house. Even the land is being built houses.

During his time as a BRILink Agent, Yusrah even had special tips. They are consistent and provide the best service to customers and consumers. “Sometimes there are agents who close when a customer arrives, that’s because he is also doing other work. We avoid this. We are open every Monday-Saturday from 08.00 to 17.30 WITA, and customers already know the schedule,” he said.
