Sérgio Godinho, Gisela João and GNR at a free admission festival at the Belém Tower Gardens

Artists such as Gisela João, Sérgio Godinho, Nenny and the José Pinhal Post Mortem Experience project are part of a free “celebration of Portuguese music” initiative, which takes place in June at the Jardins da Torre de Belém, in Lisbon.

According to a statement from the organization, the first day of FNAC Live, June 2nd, starts with a DJ ‘set’ by actor Nuno Lopes. Also for the first day, a show by the Lisbon Film Orchestra, conducted by maestro Nuno Sá, is scheduled, which will present “the best songs from the most recognized soundtracks in the cinematographic world”, and the film-concert “Circo de Feras” will be shown. of Xutos & Pontapés.

On the second day, June 3, there will be a series of concerts, which will take place on two stages. On the main stage, Gisela João, GNR, Nenny, Sérgio Godinho, You Can’t Win Charlie Brown and the José Pinhal Post Mortem Experience project will perform. Carmo and Ana Lua Caiano.

On the same occasion, the winners of the 21st edition of the FNAC New Talents will be announced, which include six categories: photography, illustration, writing, cinema, music and videogames. The winners receive €10,000 each. FNAC Live, created and produced by the FNAC chain of stores, is co-organized with Lisbon City Council.
