At the Ein Keshetot National Heritage Site, in preparation for the holidays, we offer Selihot tours in a festive atmosphere, stories about the daily life that took place in the village and a musical meeting that takes place among the ancient stones.

The tour is a combination of unique singing and music for the holidays of Tishrei and the Days of Atonement, alongside stories woven into the basalt stones and the ancient synagogue’s antiquities. At the national heritage site “Ein Keshetot”, there is a Jewish village from the Mishna and Talmudic periods, with a magnificent synagogue at its heart. On the site you can get an impression of the structure of the synagogue, which houses the most preserved and most magnificent ark discovered in Israel to this day.

The tour is part of the training project of Ministry of Tourismwhich was established in order to helpthe guides in Israel The visit experience includes watching a video revealing the story of the Jews of the ancient village and the fascinating process of building the synagogue.

The tours are suitable for all ages.

Duration of the tour: an hour and a half
