Not entirely unexpectedly, the upgrade mainly consists of Seasonic introducing support for the new standard ATX 3.0. It includes, among other things, dedicated socket for power supply via the 16-pin connection 12VHPWR for recent graphics cards, including Nvidia’s Geforce RTX 4000 series.

Among the power supplies that get a facelift is the Focus PX-850 in white and black.

The right corner houses the add-on 12VHPWR.

The new ATX 3.0-endowed models will eventually replace previous power supplies in the Focus family, which are being phased out completely. However, the exact price point remains highly unclear. Previous Focus models have historically been affordable in Sweden, as a result of many long promotional offers. This makes it difficult to predict the possible price tag, but it could be significantly higher than the current generation.
