Schools were offered a new method of testing students

Yesterday, the leadership of the Education Directorate and directors of city schools met with representatives of the Gulbju laboratory, which conducts testing of schoolchildren and educational institutions for Covid-19.

As you know, the testing of students is carried out in two weeks and the schools faced many difficulties in organizing this process, which was told to the representatives of the laboratory.

In particular, there were complaints about the timing of obtaining results and the availability of information on positive responses.

For example, children do not receive a test result on time, they come to lessons, and when the answer comes, it turns out to be positive.

According to representatives of the laboratory, for sure, the child was infected in the previous days, so the belated result does not change anything.

In another case, the child was asked to stay at home without result, as a result, he was forced to miss two days, and he had to catch up with his classmates.

The directors offered their options to solve the problems that had arisen, in turn, the representatives of the laboratory told about a new method of testing – with the help of special sticks that need to be held in the mouth for half a minute. According to experts, this method will speed up the process.

Many directors are not sure that it is necessary to conduct an experiment, since it has already practically been possible to establish a system for passing tests.

If, nevertheless, one of the directors changes his mind, the laboratory is ready to conduct an experiment with a new method as early as next week.
