The imam of Tokat Erbaa district Alacabal Mahallesi Güney Mosque, Ayhan Keskin, signed a scandal with his post about CHP supporters on his social media page. “Let’s do the vaccine to CHP members first, if it works, the nation will be saved, if it doesn’t work, the homeland will be saved” he said on his page.
Seeing the sharing, CHP Erbaa District Chairperson Hayri Kocaoğlu filed a criminal complaint against the imam at the Erbaa Public Prosecutor’s Office. Stating that a religious official’s post about the main opposition party that millions of people voted for is not acceptable and the imam acts as the imam of a party, Kocaoğlu said, “This is hate speech, discrimination, the tip of the iceberg. It is the true face of AKP, which makes politics through religion. Is it the job of a religious official or an imam to do politics or discriminate? Everyone will know their limits and limits, they will respect the laws and human rights ”.
