They have signatures
The proposal for the dismissal of the head of the finance department was also signed by loyal deputies Tomáš Valášek (Progressive Slovakia), Miroslav Kollár (Together – civil democracy) and also deputies of Hlas, where former prime minister Peter Pellegrini is the leader.
“I left the government coalition on February 17, 2021 due to the absolute failure to manage the pandemic by the then Prime Minister Matovič. I have been saying for a long time that he was not able to perform the function of prime minister and he is not able to perform the function of finance minister either,” said Miroslav Kollár.
“That’s why I attached my signature to the motion for his recall. I consider Igor Matovič to be the main source of the problems we are in today,” added the member of the party Together – civil democracy.
As the portal tvnoviny.sk points out, a minimum of 30 signatures are required to submit a motion to recall the minister. After the summer, SaS leader Richard Sulík stressed that their party’s effort will be the dismissal of Igor Matovič.
