Samsung plans to support 500 start-ups next year

Launched in December 2012, C-Lab Inside encourages employees to innovate while embedding a corporate culture in which creativity is at the forefront. The program contributes to the development of ideas in various fields. Samsung has been supporting successful C-Lab projects with high market potential since 2015 and facilitating their launch as a stand-alone startup. Thanks to the success of the C-Lab Inside initiative, C-Lab Outside has been established to support start-ups and innovations outside of Samsung’s network since 2018.

Samsung has previously announced that it will support 300 Korean businesses through C-Lab Outside and accelerate the development of 200 projects over five years through the C-Lab Inside program. The company has so far helped a total of 406 start-ups (244 from C-Lab Outside and 162 from C-Lab Inside), and that number is expected to reach five hundred next year.

Samsung Electronics will be showcasing its C-Lab products and services from January 5 to 8 at the C-Lab exhibition booth on the first floor of Venetian Expo (formerly Sands Expo) Hall G in Eureka Park. Those who are unable to visit the exhibition in person will be able to watch the product videos online on the C-Lab website until January 30 (, where it is possible to contact startups.
