Samsung unveils Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 + smartphones

Samsung introduced the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 +. The flagships received an updated design, a pumped-up camera suitable for both beginners and experienced photographers, as well as a powerful processor.

New style

The redesigned Galaxy S21 series has been designed for those looking for a smartphone that remains light and compact even with a 6.2-inch display. The Galaxy S21 + has a larger 6.7-inch screen and a high-capacity battery, making it ideal for hours of gaming and series marathons.

The Galaxy S21 series has received a new Contour Cut Camera body that seamlessly merges into a metal frame, providing a sleek and elegant look for gadgets. The S21 and S21 + will be available in several stylish colors, including the brand new Phantom Purple. The surface of each device has received a matte finish.

The Galaxy S21 features a 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O Smart Adaptive Display for smoother scrolling and content browsing. The refresh rate of the screen is adjusted automatically, depending on what content the user is currently viewing – for example, a feed on a social network or TV show. And to reduce eye fatigue, the new Eye Comfort Shield automatically adjusts the intensity of the blue light filter based on the time of day, the type of content you are watching, and when you go to sleep.

Camera

Enhanced 8K Snap delivers clear images from 8K video. Recording will be smooth even when shooting in motion or shaking thanks to the Super Steady mode, which automatically optimizes recording at 30 or 60 frames per second in FHD resolution. The new Director’s View function allows you to quickly change the camera from which you are shooting during shooting to get dynamic and vivid stories. Vlogger View is suitable for shooting from the front and main cameras at the same time to record the reaction to this or that event in real time, and Live Thumbnail will help you change the shooting angle, zoom and zoom in the video without missing anything. When paired with the new Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro headphones, the smartphone can simultaneously record both background sounds and the user’s voice using multiple microphones. Thus, the Galaxy S21 in Pro Video mode can be mounted on a tripod and then used as a body microphone to record speech, movement and other sounds in high quality. The popular intelligent Multi-shot function determines the best angles, shooting settings and filters for a specific scene and creates a selection of spectacular photos and videos with one touch. And new professional video settings such as Highlight Video and Dynamic Slow-Mo are suitable to create the required accent on the highlights.

The Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 + AI triple cameras are designed for when more creative control is needed. The system evaluates and adjusts to each scene, allowing you to optimally capture any frame. In portrait mode, the camera uses advanced 3D analysis to separate the main subject from the background, and offers virtual studio lighting and background effects to help make the main subject stand out. The same thing happens when taking selfies. When shooting distant scenes – for example, on a hike or at a concert – the improved Space Zoom will allow you to capture clear and stable images. The new Zoom Lock feature on the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 + minimizes hand shake and sharpens images up to 30x zoom using AI and keeping the original focus point in the center of the frame. Plus, thanks to the increased processing power, images are bright even when shooting in the dark.

Samsung’s new smartphones help you stay connected and protect your data in more convenient and personalized ways. The Galaxy S21 delivers next-generation performance and seamlessly connects to the Galaxy ecosystem to give its wearer more options.

The Galaxy S21 is protected by Knox Vault, Samsung’s proprietary chip-level security platform (SoC). By combining secure memory with CPU tamper protection, Vault provides maximum protection for the Galaxy S21.

Smartphones also received a new tool to ensure maximum privacy: before uploading a photo, you can safely delete location metadata. The Galaxy S21’s Private Share feature also lets you control who gets to the content you send and how long it is available so that you can easily share files with others.

The Galaxy S21 pairs seamlessly with other Galaxy devices, and SmartThings Find lets you quickly and easily find compatible Galaxy devices, even when they’re disconnected from your smartphone. No matter where you forgot your gadget – in another room, under a car seat or in a nearby city – SmartThings Find will point you in the right direction. You can also locate unconnected devices with the new Samsung Galaxy SmartTag key fob. All you have to do is attach the SmartTag to your keys, bag or even your pet’s collar to find it easily through SmartThings Find.

Samsung Care +

For program users Samsung Care + repair of a smartphone with a discount for mechanical damage, round-the-clock technical support by phone or chat, compensation for the complete loss of the device and an extended warranty for one additional year are available. You can join Samsung Care + when you make a purchase for a smartphone on the website or in brand stores. The cost of the certificate is 6,990 rubles per year and 9,990 rubles for two years of device protection.
