Samsung Smart monitor M80C available for pre-order in Slovenia

Samsung Electronics has introduced the new Smart monitor M80C, which is already available for pre-order in Slovenia. It will be during the pre-order period Smart monitor M80C available at a suggested retail price of EUR 699.00 with free Galaxy Buds2 wireless headphones. In addition, the company has globally introduced the rest of the Smart Monitors M7 and M5 (model name: M70C and M50C), which can be fully customized to the unique style and needs of users, whether for entertainment or business needs.

Elegant design for every style and space

The entire line consists of versatile monitors that meet the needs and style of a wide variety of users. Smart monitors M8, M7 and M5 are available in seven different colors and sizes. The M8 and M7 are available in 80 centimeters (32 inches) and the M5 in 80 and 67.5 centimeters (32 and 27 inches). The M8 model with UHD resolution and 400 nits brightness will be available in warm white. The M7 model with UHD resolution and 300 nits brightness will be available in warm white, while the M5 model with Full HD resolution will be available in elegant black and white.

The M8 and M7 models have a new iconic slim design and are extremely narrow, measuring only 11.39 mm at the thinnest point of the monitor. For a better look of the monitor and the space in which the monitor stands, the back of the M8 and M7 models uses an organic, elegant herringbone pattern. The height-adjustable stand with tilt support helps users of the M8 monitor adjust the angle while creating a clutter-free environment. The screen can also be rotated 90 degrees to reduce fatigue when scrolling through long files.

Monitors that redefine smart entertainment

The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 2023 is upgraded and improved. With 4K resolution, HDR 10+^[1] and the brightness of 400 nits ensures a brilliant and vivid picture, thus offering the best smart entertainment in a monitor. M8 users can enjoy easy access to the Samsung Gaming Hub^[2], all-in-one streaming platforms and Smart Hub for services such as Prime Video, Netflix and YouTube. Both the M8 and M7 also support color coverage of up to 99% of the sRGB color gamut to bring all content to life in brilliant colors for designers and creators.

Upgraded monitors for maximum productivity

The 2023 line has been enhanced to make remote work seamless and smooth. It enables remote access to the workspace without a PC with wireless connection and screen mirroring. The M8 has a magnetic and removable camera, so users can connect wirelessly without an additional camera purchase. Its SlimFit camera^[3] supports FHD resolution and video conferencing features. Users can now connect to Google Meet and other apps while taking advantage of Auto Framing^[4] for more efficient meetings. In addition, the Multi View feature has been upgraded, which now allows you to use the Microsoft 365 app and the browser in full-screen mode, reducing switching between apps^[5].

To improve the user interface of all 2023 Smart Monitors, mouse and keyboard control features have been added to many apps, including SmartThings and Smart Hub. Users can now maintain full control while exploring their favorite content without the need for a remote control.

Next-level monitors with new customized features

With a built-in IoT hub that supports Zigbee and Thread networks^[6], users can easily control all their home IoT devices from a single monitor. The M8 and M7 have built-in voice assistants, including Bixby and Amazon Alexa^[7], which allows users to control the monitor with their voice. With a built-in microphone, the M8 and M7 also support remote voice, allowing users to speak directly to the monitor.

The new My Contents function, which is now available on all 2023 Smart monitors, gives users quick access to useful information. When the monitor is in standby mode and detects a registered Smart phone via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), the screen automatically turns on and displays the user’s photos, weather and more. When the smartphone is no longer in range, the monitor switches back to standby mode.
