Samsung Galaxy S21 officially. The new flagships are cheaper than their predecessors

2021 has just started, and one of the most important premieres of this year is behind us. Here is the Samsung Galaxy S21.

Just like last year, Samsung is introducing 3 models to its offer: Galaxy S21, S21 + and S21 Ultra. This time, however, all variants support 5G as standard, so you do not have to worry about the modem when buying.

Samsung Galaxy S21: 3 variants and 3 sizes

Samsung’s offer is joined by:

• Galaxy S21 with 6.2 inch flat screen, 2400 x 1080, 421 ppi, 120 Hz;
• Galaxy S21 + flat screen 6.7 inch, 2400 x 1080, 394 ppi, 120 Hz;
• Galaxy S21 Ultra with 6.8 inch curved screen, 3200 x 1440, 515 ppi, 120 Hz.

Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays of all models support refresh mode adaptive. The frequency is continuously adjustable (48–120 Hz on the S21 / S21 + and 10–120 Hz on the S20 Ultra) depending on the activities currently being performed, to save energy. On the Ultra model, the 120Hz mode can work even when the resolution is set to 1440p.

The panels are to be of high brightness (1500 nits in the S21 Ultra) and not strain your eyes. Integrated with the new ultrasonic fingerprint readerto provide a larger scan area and faster performance.

The entire Samsung series also has screens covered with the latest and strongest glass Gorilla Glass Victus. Another common denominator is the frame made of strong AL7s10 aluminum, which blends seamlessly with the island on the rear panel.

However, while the S21 + and S21 Ultra have rear panels also made of glass, in the case of the smallest S21, Samsung focused on Plastic called Glasstik. The backs are matte in all models.

The entire series is of course waterproof (IP68). There was also stereo speakers, designed together with AKG.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is compatible with the S Pen stylus

The largest model can boast compatibility with the S Pen stylus, which was previously reserved for the Note series. The Stylus for S21 Ultra, however, is larger, sold separately and hidden not in the phone casing, but in one of the special covers.

It is said that the Galaxy Note 20 may turn out to be the last representative of the series.

Samsung Galaxy S21 are new cameras with new features

One of the main differences between the individual models concerns their photographic capabilities.

Galaxy S21 i S21+ have:

• 12 Mpix main camera with f / 1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization;
• 12 Mpix camera with f / 2.2 ultra wide angle lens;
• 64 Mpix camera with f / 2.0 lens, 3x lossless digital zoom and optical image stabilization;
• 10 Mpix front camera with f / 2.2 aperture.

Galaxy S21 Ultra instead he got:

• 108 Mpix main camera with f / 1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization;
• 12 Mpix camera with f / 2.2 ultra wide angle lens;
• 10 Mpix camera with f / 2.4 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization;
• 10 Mpix camera with f / 4.9 periscope telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom and optical image stabilization;
• laser autofocus;
• 40 Mpix front camera with f / 2.2 aperture.

The most advanced camera has the Ultra variant. It was armed with a new more sensitive matrix, which is to guarantee a higher tonal range, better colors and improved photo quality in difficult lighting conditions. Another improvement is 2 telephoto lenses, generating 3x and 10x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.

New to the software is the function Zoom Lockwhich allows you to lock the frame while zooming. At high zoom, the image is stabilized, reducing hand shake.

Samsung also added director’s modethat displays the preview from up to 4 cameras simultaneously while recording. At the same time, you can capture an image with the rear and front cameras.

Samsung also boasts of an improved one night modewhich is supposed to record more details with less noise in deep darkness.

The mode known from its predecessor One take, which recognizes scenes automatically taking the best photos and videos, now uses 5 times more data processed by artificial intelligence, which is to significantly improve the results achieved. A new feature is the video effect with automatic speed control.

Samsung also boasts improved stabilization Super Steady i better artificial intelligence improving the quality of photos and supporting zoom.

The models from the Galaxy S21 line, of course, inherited the function from their predecessors 8K movie recording. In turn, the 4K 60 fps mode works with all lenses.

The logging function completes the whole thing 12-bit RAW imageswhich are to be distinguished by high flexibility during editing.

Samsung Galaxy S21 with the new Exynos 2100 and no charger included

In Europe, the heart of all three is the Exynos 2100. Made in the 5 mm lithographic process, the Samsung processor is to be characterized by a 30% increase in performance and a 20% increase in performance. lower energy requirements compared to the Exynos 990 from the S20 series.

The battery capacity of the S21, S21 + and S20 Ultra is 4,000, 4,800 and 5,000 mAh respectively. They all support 25W wired fast charging, 15W wireless charging and PowerShare wireless reverse charging.

The package, however, lacked a power supply and headphones, which Samsung explains & hairsp; – & hairsp; as does Apple & hairsp; – & hairsp; care for the environment.

Galaxy S21 Ultra is packed with the latest connectivity modules

Each model has a built-in modem 5G supporting sub-6 GHz bands and millimeter waves. For the Ultra variant, Samsung went a step further by adding support Wi-Fi 6E, which is the latest available standard.

The S21 + and S21 Ultra also have a chip UWBwhich is used to orient the phone and other objects in space. Special SmartTags key rings are expected to be available at any moment, which will make it easier to find lost items or pets, working on a single charge for 9 months.

A chip is also implemented in all models e.g, so you don’t need to use a physical SIM card.

Samsung Galaxy S21: prices in Poland. Is cheaper

Samsung has made some compromises, including by reducing the contents of the package or using plastic in the cheapest model. The good news is that it resulted in the lowest prices, which are as follows:

• Galaxy S21 (8/128) – PLN 3899;
• Galaxy S21 (8/256) – PLN 4099;
• Galaxy S21 + (8/128) – PLN 4799;
• Galaxy S21 + (8/256) – PLN 4999;
• Galaxy S21 Ultra – (12/128) – PLN 5749;
• Galaxy S21 Ultra – (12/256) – PLN 5999;
• Galaxy S21 Ultra – (16/512) – PLN 6,549.

Let me remind you that the S20 in the 4G version cost PLN 3949 on the day of the premiere, and the S20 Ultra as much as PLN 5999.
