- DxOMark has newly taken the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G phone
- He attracts a set of four rear cameras
- The result currently shows that the form clearly overcharges the content
Last year, Samsung completed a revitalization of its mid-range phone lineup. And in the same year he reaped success. The Galaxy A50 smartphone has become one of the three best-selling smartphones in the world. From this year’s successor Galaxy A51 5G (review) similar results were logically expected. But how is he doing in photography? DxOMark gives a clear answer to this question.
Phone with an average camera
When this mobile appeared on the Czech market this spring, it started with a confident price tag of CZK 9,490. Its main motto was not only 5G support, but also four rear cameras in the composition: the main 48Mpx sensor, 12Mpx wide, 5Mpx macro and as the last 5Mpx macro sensor. On paper, maybe terno, but the reality is different. Analysts from the famous laboratory rate the camera as a “clear average”.
And this corresponds to a total score of 87 points. Under ideal conditions, the Galaxy A51 5G takes good photos and has a solid dynamic range. However, the main problem is white balance, sometimes noisy photos or very slow autofocus. It’s on the scorpion with color fidelity and underexposure. In a similar vein, it is the shooting of video. In general, the outputs are good. However, experts are bothered by the occasional excess of unwanted artifacts and poor noise reduction.
