Samsung and Bayer invest in health app

Samsung, Bayer and a few other companies have invested $90 million in Ada Health, an app that uses artificial intelligence to interpret medical symptoms.

To date, Ada Health has a total of up to 150 million dollars received in funding.

With the money, Ada will further develop its product and make the health assessments even more accurate.

The Ada app allows users to enter symptoms, after which the user has to answer several multiple choice questions.

Then Ada presents up to five diseases that the user could be suffering from with details about each one. The company emphasizes that it is not a diagnosis. Users still need to consult a doctor for this.
