“Saliva” for cleaning the keyboard and hard-to-reach places

If you need to clean the keyboard or some similar less accessible places and objects, this “saliva”, which you can make yourself, will be very useful.

Did you know that according to some research some keyboards are even dirtier than a public toilet? We sometimes eat over them, touch them with greasy fingers, and hundreds of tiny crumbs and dust get stuck between the keys every day. Disgusting, isn’t it?

We believe that you have other similar items around the house that could use a good cleaning. (Just think of the remote controls!) Of course, you don’t want to spend the day with ear buds and cleanser in hand. Try “saliva” to clean your keyboard.

How to make it

You need: 1 teaspoon of borax, about 120 ml of glue (colorless), 1 ½ cups (of 250 ml) water and about 8 drops of food coloring.

Pour 1 cup of water into a bowl and mix with 1 teaspoon of borax. Set aside. Pour about 120 ml of liquid glue into another container. Add half a cup of water and 8 drops of food coloring of your choice to the glue. Mix well (you can use an old spoon), then pour the mixture from another container (borax and water). Stir the mixture with your hands and shake off the excess water. Continue kneading the “saliva” until it is no longer sticky and you get a thicker mixture. Spill the excess water that comes out.

And that’s it – you got “drool”. You can store it in a plastic bag with a zipper so that it does not dry out. If it starts to dry out, you can refresh it with a little water.

Now you just need to stick it on the dusty and dirty surface. Wait a few minutes, then peel it off. All that dirt and crumbs will “go” with the saliva.
