There has been a steady increase in meat prices this year. Rising costs also resulted in less money in the producer’s pocket. The approaching Eid al-Adha is very important for those who invest in this business. Although there are speculations in the market that the prices of sacrificial animals are based on 150 thousand liras, the prices are on average between 60 and 110 thousand TL. Prices may increase or decrease depending on the characteristics of the animal. Major share prices are between 8 thousand and 11 thousand TL. The amount per share varies between 25 and 38 kg.
