Ryan Reynolds had a polyp removed during his first colonoscopy, which he performed after a lost bet.

On Tuesday, September 13, actor Ryan Reynolds posted a video on his Twitter and Instagram accounts where he shows how his first colonoscopy allowed him to detect and remove a polyp – a benign tumor growing on the lining of the colon or rectum which can turn into a cancerous tumor. A review he made following a lost bet with his best friend Rob McElhenney, also an actor.
In the video, the two friends tell the origin of this first colonoscopy. In 2021, they bought the Welsh football club, Wrexham FC.
