The results of the study show that among respondents aged 25-34, every fifth (20%) now has more desire to make an appointment with a psychologist. Among the survey participants aged 35-44 years – every seventh (14%).

As for the older age groups, among fellow citizens aged 45-59, every tenth (10%) wants to talk to a psychologist more often than last year. Among respondents over 60 years old – 11%.

Women who feel the greatest need for psychological help turned out to be almost twice as many as men – 18% and 11% of respondents, respectively.

In turn, more than two-thirds of Russians (68%) said they never seek help from a psychologist and prefer to cope with their problems on their own.

The All-Russian telephone survey was conducted on November 12, 2022 among 1600 respondents aged 18 and over.
