The Fund held competitions in two directions:
- implementation of domestic IT solutions;
- development of domestic software.
12 companies became the winners of the first competition. Among them are the Kalashnikov concern, Kuzbassrazrezugol, the Ural automobile plant, EcoStroyResource, Rusatom Infrastructure Solutions and others.
So, 158 million rubles will receive the project of the company “EcoStroyResource”. The team will implement an innovative solution to solve a number of waste collection and disposal problems in the Samara region. The digital platform will bring together consumers, waste carriers, landfills, recycling plants and government officials.
The Ural Automobile Plant will receive a grant of 123 million rubles for the implementation of a unified IT-based enterprise management system. It is planned that in two years the company will transfer the existing work processes from Western software to domestic. A working model will also be created for the entire production cycle – from design documentation of a new car to its sale.
The winners of the competition for projects for the development of domestic software were 33 companies, including New Cloud Technologies, Holemont Samara, NtechLab, the 1C Research and Production Center and others.
The Holemont company won a grant in the amount of 94 million rubles for the further development of the open source cloud platform CUBA Platform for software developers. The platform will be integrated with public clouds and CI / CD tools. BPM support and modern UI and UX will also be implemented.
In addition, a RUB 78 million grant will be allocated to NtechLab, a company specializing in neural network solutions. The funds will be used to develop a solution for recognizing a person based on his silhouette.
The new NtechLab technology will be integrated into the existing FindFace biometric system. According to the company, the new development will lead to an increase in the speed and accuracy of searching for people, as well as to more effectively determine the trajectory of the object of observation. The algorithm is also capable of recognizing a person’s gender, age and emotions.
A total of 139 applications were submitted for the competitions from enterprises from 29 regions of Russia. The largest number of applications was received from Moscow, the Republic of Tatarstan, St. Petersburg, Sverdlovsk and Samara regions.
“To participate in new tenders, the volume of submitted documents was reduced, applications were submitted exclusively in electronic form, and applicants were given the opportunity to modify applications several times after their preliminary verification and receipt of an exhaustive list of comments,” said RFRIT CEO Dmitry Kryukov.
RFRIT is the operator of the Russian Ministry of Digital Science. Grants are allocated within the framework of the national program “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation”. The fund’s activities are aimed at financial support and other support for scientific, scientific and technical, innovative activities in the field of ICT.
