The most plastic glass

We received the phone in a conservative dark gray color. The front is not interesting at all, so let’s go to the back. The material of the back is glass of unknown origin, but the material looks pretty cheap to me – it doesn’t look like glass and it scratches. Below it is a layer evoking brushed steel, which will probably be some engraving. There is an annoying two-story hump on the back, which protrudes 2 mm from the back, and the holt phone wobbles on the table. The design of the phone is unqualified. However, he likes to fall out of his pockets due to his shiny back.

The upper frame is plastic, the rest should be made of painted metal – again, it looks kind of plastic, so you can only believe. Looking up, we have one of Harman Kardon’s pair of speakers, a microphone and an infrared port. It works well as a driver – exactly as you would expect.

There is nothing to observe on the left, on the right we have a raised double volume button and a rather sunken power button with a fingerprint reader. Below we have a second speaker and microphone, a slot for 2 SIM and a USB-C port. It didn’t get on the 3.5mm jack, and you still won’t put memory cards in the phone, even if you put it on your head.

The pair of speakers on the sides is musically above average. They can emit stereo sound at the ideal distance and the quality also pleased my ears. Unfortunately, the headphone adapter is not included, so you need to find your own.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro looks like a trampled phone

Display as a picture

The front of the phone is dominated by an AMOLED display with a 6.67-inch diagonal and a resolution of 2400 × 1080 px. The display is packed with technologies – it has a high refresh rate of 120 Hz, HDR and various AI image enhancements. Interesting is the DC dimming technology, which reduces the supply voltage of the display instead of the more usual PWM regulation, which goes out in milliseconds and turns on the diodes. DC regulation makes the eyes of sensitive people more pleasant.

Xiaomi claims that it solved the problems with this type of regulation, ie that the AMOLED supply voltage was reduced with color distortion. However, most people cannot tell the difference between continuous and pulse modulation. However, these enhancers are not compatible with 120Hz fast mode. Fortunately, there is an independent brightness level that goes very high for outdoor use and the display has no problem with readability.
