Asian giant Xiaomi has built more than a strong name over the years in Europe. He focuses most of his efforts on middle-class phones. And no wonder, because this segment brings the biggest profit to the manufacturer. For the most part, it creates this part of the market. Their new Redmi Note 11 Pro is heading for these waters again. We already know from the past that Note models are a regular success, thanks to the pricing policy and specifications you get for your money.

On paper, the novelty looks really breathtaking. We have a beautiful large display, solid interior equipment or three capable cameras on the back. In addition, all this is packed in a pleasing body made of premium materials. The price then remained grounded again. So does the currently tested Redmi Note 11 Pro have the potential to succeed in shark-filled waters? You will find out in the just starting review on Mobilizujeme.cz!

Redmi Note 11 Pro Charger Review

Design Redmi Note 11 Pro – attractive brick

The first impression is really important with the phone. Designers and constructors from Xiaomi are probably also aware of this. So they looked one hundred percent on the look of the new Redmi Note 11 Pro. They decided to use premium materials such as metal and glass to make the smartphone. The phone looks really pleasing to the eye and makes an honest impression in the hand. The sharply cut frame of the phone certainly helps. The edges resemble such a small brick and with a little luck you can also stand the phone without support. The sides of the smartphone are then dimmed.

These sides then, of course, carry everything they need. We start with the left side, which was left blank, and Xiaomi spread all the peripheries between the other three sides. On the opposite, we have a lock button located in the upper half. There is also a fingerprint sensor in this key. Unfortunately, it is not as reliable as it would be. Although speed is not an issue, correct recognition occurs in seven out of ten cases. A volume cradle has found its place above the sensor.

At the top is the dominant speaker grille, which is complemented by a second speaker at the bottom. The sound provided is then slightly above average, as is its maximum volume. The sound sometimes hides hints of bass that do not fade even at maximum volume. We also have an infrared port at the top for controlling home electronics. There is also a 3.5mm Jack connector. Connecting your favorite wired headphones is not a problem and it will surely please the old lover.

Thanks to the speaker, we have already bitten the lower part, but audio is not the only thing this part hides. In the middle, of course, we have a USB-C connector for recharging the battery. Last but not least, the necessary SIM card slot has also found its place here. This is then double-sided, while the other side is hybrid. This means that you can insert either a second SIM card or a memory card here.

But the most impressive is definitely the back, which is made of glass and has a matte finish. Thanks to this, the black variant Redmi Note 11 Pro works really premium. The matt surface has another advantage, fingerprints do not stick here. The module with three cameras also looks good. Unfortunately, it protrudes above the rest of the body, in two cases. The first protrusion carries two sensors, an LED flash, an AI inscription and a 108Mpx camera alert. He has his place in the other ledge. This makes the phone sway uncomfortably when placed on the table. The front side then has a beautiful large display with minimal frames and a small shot for the front camera.

Display – Beautifully colored and fast

The display is, of course, the most staring element. Said both figuratively and practically. It is therefore important that the panel is of reasonable quality, at least in terms of price. That’s why we have a large 6.67-inch AMOLED display in the Redmi Note 11 Pro with a resolution of 2,400 × 1,080 pixels, which results in a fineness of 395 pixels per inch. The numbers are nice, but what does that mean in practice? The display is beautifully soft and the grid is unobservable. The color rendering is really pleasing and rich. This is, after all, the domain of AMOLED panels. However, vivid colors may not suit everyone. Therefore, you can adjust the colors to suit your image in the settings.

As far as visibility is concerned, the phone and the display have no problem with that. If we look at the paper specifications, we have a luminosity of 1,200 threads. For comparison, we can use, for example iPhone 13who boasts the same numbers. This in itself says that the display will not be a problem even in direct sunlight. The problem only arises with automatic brightness control. It doesn’t work as intended. It is simply a little slower than it should be. The same problem occurs otherwise, and it takes an uncomfortably long time for the phone to bring the brightness down to an acceptable level.

Definitely also pleases the features for using the phone at night. About this time, the smartphone can adjust colors and eliminate blue light, which prevents the formation of melatonin, which results in lower quality sleep. I recommend this mode to all ten. You can also use the automatics, where the function turns itself on depending on the sunrise and sunset. If this does not suit you, you can control the night mode manually.

Lastly, I will stop at perhaps the largest weapon on this screen. This increases the 120Hz refresh rate. With normal use of the Redmi Note 11 Pro, the phone looks really smooth and agile. You will also appreciate the increased frequency when playing supported games. However, if you can’t appreciate this functionality, you can stay with a duller 60Hz refresh rate. The passage through the system will no longer look so graceful, but you will save some percentage of the battery that may come in handy later.
