Nikyforchuk reminded that there are three simple grounds for dismissal from service:
- reaching the maximum age (60 years in wartime);
- if there is a conclusion of the VLK that the person has some sores and, accordingly, he cannot serve in the future;
- when the court sentenced a person to imprisonment.
Under what family circumstances can you be released from military service
Previously, lawyers explained that grounds for dismissal from military service are provided for in Part 4 of Article 26 of the Law of Ukraine “On Military Duty and Military Service”.
The law states that any disability of the wife or husband, disability of the I or II group of parents of a military serviceman is grounds for dismissal from service.
The military must submit a report to the immediate commander with the specified grounds for dismissal and copies of supporting documents. An important clarification: in order to prove that it is about relatives of the wife or the wife (husband) herself, the marriage must be registered in the RATS.
